I'm a biosci major and damn some people so unhelpful. I'm talking about the people that would ask for class notes when they miss class but when you miss a class and ask for notes they don't even reply. Like what's wrong with you people. It's not that serious. Why are you afraid of helping me? I helped you when you needed it.
We are being asked to go back. They are planning a back-up list of TAs so when we get sick they have another one right ready to fill in.

If you got a 1160 in September and then 1580 the next month, colleges may be suspicious. However, if there is a reasonable amount of time between your two attempts, colleges are much less likely to be suspicious.
As with anything “it depends”. Were you a freshman feeling ill or a high level junior? Studying can definitely improve scores. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. Can they improve scores in 1–2 weeks? Probably not much at all. So it depends on intelligence, practice and work.
What gives the student taking AP calculus a better SAT grade than the student taking pre-calc. Both students are taking math courses which have covered the needed material, yet one has practiced more. The calculus student is not necessarily smarter than the pre-calculus student, they have just spent more time solving math questions.
