Best places to take credit eligible math courses I have an undergraduate degree in Business Data Analytics that was pretty light on the math. I have taken basic stats, college algebra and a statistical programming class in SAS and R.
From my understanding, you have to go through the institution's admissions process and pay tuition. They are free to audit, but cost the institutional credit fee in order to have it count for anything. I think you have to do it before you take the course, but you might be able to retroactively apply it; I'd talk to the school for clarification.
Good news though, you can simply show them their value by applying that knowledge to a project. If your employer isn't inspecting your personal projects (probably on github) as a way to judge your salt.... then i'm not sure you want to work there in the first place. Most Coursera classes feature a project excatly for this reason.
