If you purchased a new textbook, look for the access code inside the first few pages of the book or in the printed access kit that is shrinkwrapped with the book. If you purchased a used textbook, the access code has probably been used.
You can access your eText through the Pearson English Portal. Sign in if you already have an account or can create an account.
Browse available Pearson eText titles in your discipline (click “eText” at the top of the page), and select the title you would like to use. Create your course (PDF | 4.66 MB), personalize your content, and invite students to join.
If you do not know the ID for your class or the ID you were given wasn't accepted, please obtain the correct ID from your instructor. If you do not have an instructor you may be able to use the site to study independently.

In most cases, your campus bookstore will have the correct package of course materials, and the access code will be located inside the front or back cover or on an insert that is shrink-wrapped with the textbook.
Access codes purchased from retailers other than your university/college bookstore or Pearson may not be valid for the specific requirements of your course developed by your instructor. Pearson is unable to replace the access codes purchased from these retailers.
You can also purchase access directly from Pearson by visiting the website you need to access. After beginning the registration process from the home page of the site, you may use a credit card or PayPal to purchase access. (This option may not be available on all sites.)
