Your Course ID is a unique identifier of your course. You will need to provide your Course ID to students or another teacher wishing to join your course. Use some class time to help your students get comfortable registering, joining your course and navigating the platform. Show them the various activity types.
This ID can have several formats, and must be obtained from your instructor for you to enroll in the correct course. If you do not know the ID for your class or the ID you were given wasn't accepted, please obtain the correct ID from your instructor.
To find your Course ID: Click on the Settings tab. Under Course Management, locate your course on the list. You will see the Course ID under the Course name.

If you recently joined a course, but you don't see it on your My Courses page, this may be because the enrollment hasn't finished processing. Alternatively, try refreshing your Pearson Account and if that doesn't work, contact Pearson Customer Support and ask to have your account synched.
A course ID is a unique identifier created for every Mastering course. It contains the course creator's last name and five digits.
Viewing course ID when logged in If you are already logged in to Achieve, you can see the course ID on the course list page in the Course ID column.

Course Numbers These numbers are the main way colleges organize their course catalog. No two courses at a college will share the exact same course number. The most useful thing for students to understand about these numbers is how to distinguish between upper-level credit and lower-level credit.
Course Number – the three-digit number that distinguishes a course within a Course Subject Area. These numbers carry no meaning by themselves, with the exception of four Course Numbers reserved for courses included in each Course Subject Area: 995—Course Subject Area—Aide.
Open an instructor course. To open an instructor course (labeled as Instructor Course ), select the course name. Open the student course list. Select Active Student Courses on the My Courses page to open the student course list. You can also open the list by selecting Details and then select Show student courses.
However, you can’t create a shortcut for a course that is already inactive. Copy your existing student courses. When you choose Select from my existing course list, any student courses that are associated with an instructor course are not listed. Instead, copy them from the student course list.
Students can’t enroll in instructor courses, so never share a course ID for an instructor course with students. You can send this course ID to other instructors who want to copy your course. Select Edit course details on the course details page, and then make changes.
Student courses created from an instructor course are independent of each other, and future changes in the instructor course do NOT flow to student courses. You can convert some MyLab materials from an instructor course to a coordinator course.
