Probably not without taking a local course. Most states require you to take an in-person training course in order to qualify for your local state permit. Our online course wouldn't qualify. It is worth clarifying that prior to 2021 this class did qualify students to apply for a Virginia non-resident permit but the law changed on January 1st 2021.

Shooting a gun and driving a car can easily be done without the license, which in and of itself is just a small rectangle of plastic or paper. The point is that the process to get the credentials is an attempt to enforce responsibility that is exercised to ensure individual and group safety.

Don't be fooled other companies advertising concealed carry licenses or permits "valid" in Texas. These are not Texas licenses and are most often for a Virginia permit. To be a Texas License, the instructor must be a Texas LTC instructor certified by the Texas Department of Public Safety. A Texas LTC also requires the applicant to do the shooting qualification in Texas. If no shooting portion is required, it is not for a Texas License.
