Registered students are expected to attend all classes. Some instructors may choose to use attendance as part of grading for a particular course. Instructors#N#have the authority to lower a grade or fail a student based on attendance.
Class Participation Grades of FP ā (failure to participate) will be issued to those students failing to participate in class activities and failing to officially withdraw from their course (s). Students will be assigned a grade of āFPā if they do not complete at least 50% of the assigned coursework.
In order to maintain College compliance with federal and state regulations and to report correct data to the state, instructors will complete an electronic form to initiate an administrative drop from a course if a student has not participated in at least one session of a class by the census reporting date, e.g.
Tuition payment deadline for fall 2021 classes has been extended from August 10th to August 27th.
You must have financial aid posted to your account and/or a payment method on file by the end of day on August 27th (payment deadline) to AVOID having your courses dropped / registration canceled.
As a student, it is your responsibility to drop classes prior to the start of the semester to avoid liability.

FERPA applies to the educational records of persons who are, or have been, in attendance in postsecondary institutions, regardless of age.

Foreign-born student born in a country where TB is endemic, who is not a permanent resident, and receives instruction in a room in which others are present are required to undergo TB screening. Part-time students as well as full-time students are included. Required Vaccinations / Screenings Form.
A request to drop or withdraw from a class must be made no later than three business days prior to the first class meeting. Students should complete the Drop/Withdrawal form by signing and dating it.
Tuition and class fees paid by cash, check, or credit card will be refunded by check and mailed in approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
