According to Tony, his mother died in the hospital while they were watching a movie when he was eight years old.
Tony begins to doubt Ziva's loyalty to NCIS when she continues to defend Rivkin, and it becomes apparent by the end of Part II that she is involved in a relationship with him as the two are seen lying together in bed in the last few seconds of "Legend Part 2".
"In Memory of Robert 'Bob' Bryan" appears after the final scene. When Gibbs stands up and walks towards Ziva, he leans in to whisper something. It looks like he's saying, "You're my daughter." Perhaps, in reference to Ziva calling Gibbs "the closest thing to a father that she has."
Ziva mentions that her parents attempted to make up, but ultimately divorced when she was 13, due to her father's affair with another Mossad officer. Ziva doesn't speak often of her mother, as she died before the events that brought Ziva to NCIS.Oct 8, 2020

Tony and Ziva finally and officially get together off-screen several years after their departures in Season 17. Tony was the first person to learn Ziva was alive sometime after he left NCIS.
