Feb 14, 2022 · By default, the Authenticated user role can see the list of all courses because the capability moodle/category:viewcourselist is allowed. If the capability is removed globally from the authenticated user, then the Course list viewer role may be assigned to users allowed to view courses in particular categories.
Courses may not be visible in Moodle until after the course has started. If you're currently enrolled in a course that has started and don't see it in the course list on your Moodle dashboard, please contact your instructor. Especially if it's early in the term, the course may not have been made visible yet.

All courses are loaded into Moodle as unavailable to students. Once the instructor is ready to share the materials and begin the instruction process, they will make it available to students. If you still cannot locate your course, please check double-check to see if you are listed as enrolled in the course in Self-Service, https://selfservice.trinitydc.edu/. I have a weird scenario where one of my courses no longer appears in the list of courses on My Moodle home page on login. This applies to all other enrolled users of this course.

James- in Site administration>Plugins>Blocks>Course overview block what is your default maximum number of courses? You could increase that.
That setting was set to 25 already, I only have 21 courses in the list, so this isn’t the problem.

Thanks - I've checked that setting already. It's set to 30, and I have 21 courses in my listing. See my original post - I created another new course which DOES appear in the list!
