Academic Dual Credit/Enrollment/Early Admissions applicants must submit an application for admission, an official high school transcript and this completed form. Students must meet the academic and pre-requisite course requirements (i.e. score on a standardized test, etc.) for placement in a specific course(s).
May 01, 2019 · Dual credit faculty are evaluated by students and mentor faculty according to the same schedule and procedures used for adjunct faculty. That is, all dual credit faculty are evaluated for the first two semesters that they teach a course and every fourth semester thereafter. This evaluation is composed of a classroom visit.
Students who require a course override to enroll in a class with a prerequisite requirement can submit an electronic Course Waiver Form and upload an unofficial transcript for review. If the incoming course is approved, MCC will automatically enroll you into the first available requested course chosen on the form.

Harvard does not grant credit for college coursework that you have completed before you matriculate at the school. In other words, if you have credit from your AP tests, IB exams, or dual credit classes in high school, you will not be granted credit at Harvard.

Students participating in dual enrollment programs or taking college-level courses while in high school apply for first-year admission at MIT. If you apply to MIT while you're still in high school, you're considered a first-year applicant regardless of how many units of study you may have taken at the university level.

Electronic transcripts (e-transcripts) are official transcripts that are submitted to a third party through a secure process. Each transcript is validated through a digital and certified signature by Metropolitan Community College.
All transcript requests require a student's signature; therefore, requests by phone or email are not accepted. Metropolitan Community College does not fax transcripts to other institutions, students or businesses.
Each dual credit instructor is assigned an on-campus faculty member to provide support and assistance in offering the dual credit course and in ensuring that dual credit courses are equivalent to the same courses offered on the college campus in all substantive ways . The mentor faculty member may be a full-time faculty member or retired faculty member in the teaching discipline or a related discipline in the same academic division of the college. Mentor faculty may be assigned to more than one dual credit faculty.
For faculty teaching general education courses, the standard is a master’s degree (or higher) in the discipline to be taught, or a master’s degree plus at least 18 graduate credit hours in the specific subject area they plan to teach.
The Missouri Department of Education “encourages and supports partnerships between secondary schools and public two-year colleges including such initiatives as dual credit which allow secondary students to receive both high school and college-level credit for college-level courses” and provides the rules and regulations for partnership agreements. U.S. History I and II – These two CLEP exams are worth 3 college credits each. Even though, according to HSLDA’s recommendation, that could be translated as 2 high school credits, American History is typically a one-year high school course.
It may be that your child will study a Dual Credit at Home subject for the high school credit only and not take the official exam because you know in advance that it won’t transfer to that particular school.
