This calculator accepts both numerical as well as letter grades. It also can calculate the grade needed for the remaining assignments in order to get a desired grade for an ongoing course. Enter letter grades (A, B-, C+, etc.) or percentage scores (75, 88, 92, etc.) achieved on all relevant exams, homework assignments, projects, verbal exams, etc. as well as their weights as percentages. Divide your total points by the total points possible For percentages, divide the sum by the number of entries. For example, if you have percentage grades for 30 tasks, divide the sum by 30. The quotient represents your final percentage grade.
Calculating the Grade First, calculate the percentage you received on the test by dividing your mark by the total marks. For example, if you scored 18 out of 20, then 18/20 = 90 percent. Secondly, multiply your percentage score on the test by the percentage it is worth of the final grade.

Add all the points you have received in a particular session and divide the total by 5. For example, if you have scored 8,8,9,9,10 then your overall score would be 34/5 = 8.8. This would be your CGPA. In order to get the percentage, multiply 8.8 by 9.5 and the answer will be 83.6%.

The basic formula for averaging the grades is to take the number of points earned and divide it by the total number of points possible. Multiply the answer by 100 for a percentage grade.
Add up scores that you earned on each assignment. For example, suppose that on the assignments from the previous step, you earned the following scores: 7, 19, 14 and 23 points. If you add them up, you get a total of 63 points. Compare your percentage to the grading scale to find your letter grade.
The math is simple: Multiply the dollar value of the reward by 100 and divide that by the number of points. Our example looks like this: (650 x 100)/50,000 = 1.3.
If you don't using the +/- grades, the scale may look like: An A is 90% to 100% . A B is 80% to 89%. A C is 70% to 79%. A D is 60% to 69%. and finally an F is 59% and below - and it's not a passing grade. Above you could find the standard grading system for US schools and universities.

Our Final Exam Grade Calculator calculates the final exam grade you would need to get a desired overall course grade and would require you to input your current course percentage grade as well as the weight of the final as a percentage.
When inputting your Current Grade and the Weight of the Final, our calculator automatically assumes that your current grade is based is based on weight of your course prior to the final exam and is calculated as 100% minus the inputted weight of the final.
To determine what you need to get on your final exam in order to get a 90% in the class, let's do some math using the formula above. First add the weight of all the class assignments together including your final: wtotal = 10% + 10% + 20% + 20% + 20% = 100%.
Most class grades are made up of several components such as homework assignments, tests, exams, quizzes, class participation, attendance, etc. For example, a class exam might be worth 10% of your grade and you received a 95% on the test. You would enter those values into the form.
