After 36 holes, the top 50 players and ties make the cut at the Masters, but the new wrinkle eliminated the 10-shot rule. Previously, any player within 10 shots of the leader after 36 holes would make the cut as well, regardless of place on the leaderboard.Apr 9, 2021
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. A master's degree (from Latin magister) is an academic degree awarded by universities or colleges upon completion of a course of study demonstrating mastery or a high-order overview of a specific field of study or area of professional practice.
Why is it called the Masters? When the tournament began it was called the Augusta National Invitation Tournament. Roberts suggested it be called the Masters, a reference to the "masters of golf" who played in it, but Jones thought the name immodest. Roberts finally got his way in 1939.Apr 4, 2021
The term 'undergraduate' refers to a Bachelors degree, while 'postgraduate' is used to describe graduate students studying for a second qualification, typically a masters, postgraduate certificate (PGCert) or postgraduate diploma (PGDip).May 20, 2020
Since a postgraduate diploma is not called “master's degree”, logic dictates that it must be somehow different than a master's degree. Most postgraduate diplomas are more applied in nature. Most (with exceptions) do not grant access to further graduate study.Sep 21, 2020
What does a Post Graduate Diploma mean? Postgraduate diplomas and certificates are equivalent to master's degrees in terms of level of study, but they are shorter and do not require a dissertation. That is to say, they are more advanced than bachelor's degrees at the undergraduate level.

Augusta National is arguably the most famous golf course in the world, and because the Masters is held there every year, a familiar one for diehard golfers. But what are the best holes? Here is one sports columnist's ranking of all 18, based on design for players, excitement for TV viewers and watchability for fans.
Birdieing this hole, sandwiched between the two back-nine par 5s, is what can separate a good back nine from a truly memorable charge. Otherwise, it's only notable for being the only hole on the course without a bunker.
The first hole at Augusta National is a challenging dogleg right that plays uphill. It seems like, in recent years, Tiger Woods has spent more time in the pines to the left than a furry woodland creature.
The hole that begins the famous Amen Corner is best remembered for Larry Mize's ridiculous chip-in to stun Greg Norman in the 1987 Masters playoff. Historically, no hole ranks harder (at 4.35 strokes).
Again: Not a hole you'll see a lot of on TV, but barring a poor drive, most pros will have a shot to reach the green in two. This is a great place to be if you love sand shots and lag putts, because you'll see plenty.
Anyone who tries but fails to reach the green in two will likely find his ball hidden among the distinctive mounds that protect the putting surface. It's not nearly as famous as the back-nine par 5s, but it's a cool hole.
When the tees are played back on this par 3, it is a brutally difficult hole. The green is sort of shaped like a boomerang, and the two traps that protect it -- with unpredictable winds -- gobble up a fair number of tee shots.

He was six strokes behind leader Seve Ballesteros heading into the weekend. He had just four birdies in the first two rounds.

Before the tournament, Nicklaus' was dismissed as the "Olden Bear" instead of his nickname, the "Golden Bear.'' Even through 62 holes of the tournament, he did little to dispel the remark. He had one birdie through eight holes of the front nine Sunday. But when he rolled in a tricky birdie putt on No. 9, that seemed to spark the five-time champion.
