Instructions for processing an individual course withdrawal are as follows: Sign into MyIUP and click on the Academics page. In the Course Registration and Textbooks section, click on Registration Toolbox. Click Register for Classes. Select the term you would like to withdraw a course from.
Unofficial withdrawal occurs when the student initially attends class, and at some point stops attending. The instructor will report a last date of attendance and the student will receive an “F” grade for the class. An unofficial withdrawal impacts both your GPA and your Pace/Completion Rate.
A total withdrawal is defined as formally ceasing attendance in any active courses that would end enrollment within a semester, earlier than previously scheduled.
3. Tuition & fees due to the Business Office. Withdrawing totally from JCC means that you will be removing yourself from the college. Liability for tuition and fees begins the first day of instruction for the term.
Your official transfer credit evaluation is done through the Transfer Services Office in the Office of Admissions. When you apply to IUP with the classes you want to transfer, you'll typically receive an official transfer credit evaluation within two weeks from your offer of admission.

Students who wish to withdraw from the University between semesters do not need to fill out official paperwork. Instead, you just need to make sure you are not registered for any courses before the first day of the term. At this point, you will be considered withdrawn from the University.

If you receive a passing grade (a “D”) in a class, it can only be repeated one additional time as part of your enrollment credits for financial aid purposes.
