The White Mountains have only had a dusting of snow this year so you won't find anything along the highway or in Greer. Overall, Pinetop-Lakeside is more a resort and vacation area with not much job opportunities other than nursing. I think the town of Pinetop is a great place to live. You can go camping, fishing, skiing, and hiking all over town. It isn't crowded by a million people and everyone in town is welcoming and kind.
