Once you are logged in, you can find courses in JKO by clicking the “Course Catalog” tab at top of the page. Search for a specific course, or courses with a particular topic or organization, using the search fields above each column, “Course Number” and “Title” and clicking the “Search” button.
Clicking the Enroll button in the JKO Course Catalog WILL NOT enroll you in this course in JKO. You will see another informational message on how to access TGPS courses on the TAP website, but you will not be able to enroll.
You can also browse the catalog using partial information. For example, you can enter a topic such as “Cultural Awareness” or “Joint Planning” in the search box above the “Title” column, click “Search” and it will return a listing of all courses in the JKO database containing that topic in the title. How do I enroll in a course?
A “token” (i.e., temporary password) will be emailed to the email address on file in your JKO account profile. With the received token, return to the login page and click “Received a Token.”
How do I enroll in a course? To enroll in a course selection, click the “Enroll” button associated with that course in the “Course Status” column. When prompted to confirm course enrollment selection, click “Continue.” The course will move to your “My Training” tab.
Click the “Open My Training History” link in your “Courses I am Enrolled In” table. All of your JKO course completions are displayed in the table. To open and print a copy of a completion certificate, click on the certificate icon in the “Certificate” column to the right of the course name.
To get to JKO, go to http://jko.jfcom.mil. Click “enter JKO”. Login on AKO and it will direct you to the JKO homepage.
Download the JKO Mobile app from app store, type in your PIN and download the course from the list available. courses on your mobile device The JKO Mobile App requires a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to open the app. To obtain your PIN, you will need to complete course, J7OP-US1126 on the JKO LCMS.
You can download your complete online training transcript located within the “Certificates” tab. Click the apple icon ( ) on the far right hand margin of the page. JKO “Online Training Transcript” will open in a separate window, allowing you to print and/or download your complete transcript.

Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) is a Department of Defense online portal crossing classified and unclassified military networks. JKO offers online training resources used by commanders, DoD organizations, combat support agencies and other authorized users.
No! On JKO, there is an option in the catalog to select courses that are worth DL points (see attached photo). Make sure you only take courses that JKO has annotated are worth points! Otherwise, needless to say, they won't count towards promotion.
Go to https://jkodirect.jten.mil and click “OK” on DoD Warning banner. Under “Login Options” click “Login with CAC” and select your current CAC certificate in the “Select Certificate” pop up box and click “OK.” You will be prompted to input career information and business email, then click “save”.
Some users experience problems accessing JKO using CAC. This problem is often the result of a well known and documented problem with incorrectly configured Internet Explorer settings. This problem is known as the “DoD Root Certificate Chaining Problem” per Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
