So far, I have determined that a Christian world view can allow the use of modern technology, if such technology is not produced or constructed in a way that is biblically disallowed (such as using abusive slave labor). In this part, I hope to conclude my thoughts for now on the subject by looking at the actual use of technology.
Having a biblical worldview is necessary in order for us to keep out the perverse concepts that the media throws at us to attack our morality and purity. Bill O’Reilly states, “Professors dominate and intimidate the students…There is a tyranny in higher education that is gravely harming this nation.”
Having a biblical worldview helps one overlook the influences that the modern universities may impose on him. Many colleges and universities of this era are indoctrinating their students with politically progressive and unbiblical ideas. In college, students are being taught what to think, rather than how to think (Melleby 44).
Thus, there are a number of ways that the Christian computer scientist can work to redeem computing: One way is to refuse to cut corners, and only design computing systems that are robust, and whose hardware and/or software is as reliableand impervious to crashes as possible.
Teaching from a biblical worldview is not just increasing a child's knowledge of biblical facts, but it is the complete immersion into understanding that all subjects point directly to our loving God, who desires to have a personal relationship with each one of us.
The beginning point for building a Christian worldview is a confession that we believe in God the Father, makes of heaven and earth (The Apostle's Creed). We recognize that “in Him all things hold together” (Col. 1:15-18), for all true knowledge flows from the One Creator to His one creation.
A Biblical worldview, also called a Christian worldview, is built upon the framework of ideas and beliefs through which a Christian individual or group interprets the world and interacts with the world. Our worldview shapes the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual dimensions of our lives.
Since computers are a part of the creation, and God commanded ourancestors to exercise dominion over the creation (Genesis 1:28), then the proper relationship between people and computers is for people to exercise dominion over computers.
One powerful modality, for example, is to integrate into the lecture biblical principles that underlie a true understanding of the course's field of study. Another helpful method is to use classroom devotional talks to explicitly encourage and guide students in their Christian biblical worldview.
A Christian worldview provides sets of ideologies, beliefs through which a Christian views the world and interacts with it. It is also called biblical worldview. Christian values are provided in the Bible.
A biblical worldview education reshapes how your children think about the world. With a strong foundation, they can have biblical discernment and can account for the fallen nature of the world. That is how to set your children apart from the world: by teaching them to think differently from the world.
A Biblical Worldview learning environment uses the Word of God to determine its system of moral values and ethics and this learning environment is guided by Godly principles. Values, morals and ethics are excellent areas of learning, where transfer of our Godly culture can take place.
A worldview is the set of beliefs about fundamental aspects of Reality that ground and influence all one's perceiving, thinking, knowing, and doing. One's worldview is also referred to as one's philosophy, philosophy of life, mindset, outlook on life, formula for life, ideology, faith, or even religion.
Technology has been good for Christianity in a number of ways. First, It has greatly magnified the voice of those preaching the gospel. Instead of reaching hundreds or even thousands when preaching a sermon, a pastor now has a possible audience in the millions.
Sin cannot be neatly separated out of our technology, just as we cannot separate it out of ourselves. The Reformed tradition of Christianity speaks of this complete immersion in and staining by sin as total depravity. Because of this corruption of the human heart, sin is operative in every human use of technology.
Luke 8:1-11.

The idea is that as Christians, we are obliged to live all aspects of our lives in a way pleasing to Him, including our play, our work, and so on—all aspects of life are subject to Jesus’ lordship. By living all facets of our lives consistently with Jesus’ teachings, we redeem those facets, and advance His kingdom.
One of the distinctives of reformed Christianity is its teaching that all aspects of life have been affected by the fall. Genesis 3 shows this clearly when the fall disrupts people’s relationships with (i) God, (ii) each other, (iii) their work, and (iv) the world around them.
Calvin Unviersity is a Christian university in the reformed tradition, embracing the biblical themes of: God’s creation of a world that He described as good (Genesis 1); humanity’s fall, brought about by our ancestors’ rebellion against God, after which God cursed His creation (Genesis 3); and. God’s act of redeeming us by sending His son Jesus ...
These are just a few of the areas where the computer scientist who is a Christian can work to redeem computing. In summary, one task of the Christian computer scientist is to bring healing anywhere that pain exists in the endeavor of computing. Take the next step: Request info. Apply online.
In parts I and II of this series of posts, I discussed technology from the aspect of whether or not it should be used at all, and then if the production of any particular technology should preclude its use.
Christopher Blevins (-ckb) is a Primitive Baptist preacher and a professional software developer with concerns on how to apply Biblical principles in today's world of technology.
We must hold a Biblical worldview because it helps one avoid the strong influence that society has, it lets one avoid the strong influence of today’s media, and it helps one overlook the negative influence of the modern universities. Society has become extremely powerful and very influential, however, through the Bible God sets a foundation ...
It is important for one to base his worldview on biblical ideas because it will enable him to stand firm in his beliefs and resist the strong influence of evil and corruption in today’s society. Society has a profound influence on both youth and adults in the world today. Much of what society believes and portrays rejects and contradicts ...

We all have worldviews, which means that whatever content we filter into our worldview will determine how we act, speak, and think. As Christians, it is important that we craft our worldviews with information that is pure and godly and information that correlates with the Bible.
Without a strong biblical worldview, these Christians may live their lives as if there are no moral standards to live by , acting as if a biblical worldview has no purpose. Many of them may also feel that they can avoid the evil and sinful nature of today’s society by themselves.
It is only through God that we can stand against the extremely strong influence of our corrupt society. Through the Bible, God sets a foundation for our thoughts and actions , so that we may resist the heavy influence of the world around us. It is important for one to keep their worldview grounded in the Bible, so that he may not fall victim to ...

As a consequence of believing that there’s no absolute truth, everyone has gone their own way. Because of the difficulty of finding genuine truth, most people just based their truths upon unstable feelings, leading to a world torn by different belief systems.
But if you believe that God exists and let that belief govern your thinking and actions, then you will live this life according to His will and purpose. You will have a sense of direction that so many people woefully have lost. Firmly believe that God exists and you will surely live a more fulfilling life.
If we believe that Jesus (Yashua) is truly the Son of God and He is the promised Savior of this world, we should understand the Bible when we read: “For the Lord himself will DESCEND FROM HEAVEN with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
We read in Romans 8:28, “And we know that ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” What does this mean? It means that whatever it is that you are facing right now, God will eventually and ultimately make all things work together for good. If we love God, we see trials and difficulties as something that makes us stronger. These trials are given to us so we can develop the godly character God wants us to build.
If yes, you would be delighted to know that the Bible shows us where all these things are heading. In reality, the world events we see are setting the stage for the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies. Of course, Bible prophecies can be very a lengthy topic. I don’t have enough time to discuss all of them.
Biblical truth no. 1: God exists. Many people believe that God does not exist. They ardently claim that we all just appeared by chance and there’s nothing more into this world than just live and die. However, the Bible clearly tells us, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
But Genesis 1:1 is clear, authoritative, and SURE. It comes with a deep and powerful affirmation that we are created by God and He existed throughout the eternity. (Be sure to read, Shocking Truths from the Bible: Seven Proofs of God’s Existence .) Most people know that God exists, but they refuse to believe it.
