2. level 1. · 6y CCNA R & S. I used Chris's course on Udemy for one of my main sources when I was studying for my CCNA (spring - summer of 2015). Good detail, and lots of labs to support the theory. I prefer his style of teaching to that of Jeremy from CBT Nuggets, Chris is a little more serious in his delivery (Jeremy @ CBT is very good though).
Chris Bryant Udemy CCNA practice exams. It's new to Udemy but has anyone bought the course? I was going to use Boson for my practice exams. I know it's only $11 I just don't like wasting money, or my wife doesn't like me wasting money. His content quality is pretty good. For $11, I don't think you can go wrong.
IMHO the video courses focus mainly on the big picture. They do place an emphasis on what they think will be on the exam. Both Lammle (Book) and Bryant take a dry subject and make it easy to understand. Then you need to read the Odom to get more detail. There are often things that are not in the Odom and Lammle books.
New to this subreddit and working on building my networking skills. So far I passed the Security+ and CCNA exams. I'm currently in an instructed-led CCNP course but we only had like two labs the entire course and a lot of people are failing their exams. We barely used Packet Tracer and I just don't feel confident enough to take the exam at all.
