Grant these permission numbers to students. When students enroll in the class, they provide the permission number for the Permission field on the Enrollment Request 1 page. The student can use the permission number to enroll in the class provided he or she uses the permission number prior to its expire date.
If you're using a permission number, you can continue to add the class by accessing your myCSUSTAN Student Center, click on Add a Class. wait listed, enter the class number and click on Enter. Make selection as relevant for the class. Click on Next to go to the next step.

A permission number is a 6 digit number given by the department teaching the course (usually instructor) allowing a student to enroll in the class.
You obtain the permission number from the department teaching the course.
When registering for classes in Joe’SS you will enter the permission number on the second screen of enrollment for the course.
Permission numbers only allow you to enroll in the class. Students must still complete all prerequisites to remain enrolled in the class. If the student does not meet all prerequisites, the department teaching the course may allow you to remain in the class. That is department/instructor specific and any questions should be directed as such.
You will need to request another permission number from the department teaching the class.
You should contact the teaching department immediately to discuss why you were dropped.

No graduate credit is available through the Visiting Student Program. Degree seeking graduate students wishing to register for graduate courses at other University of Missouri System campuses should contact the Office of Graduate Studies about the UM Visiting Graduate Student Program.

Students on academic dismissal status from University of Missouri System schools are not eligible to register until one year has elapsed.
Through the Visiting Student Program, Missouri senior citizens may enroll on space-available basis in all types of classes, regardless of delivery mode, including, but not limited to, face-to-face and online courses. Senior citizens must prove that they at least 65 years old on or before Aug.
Senior citizens will be allowed to enroll in graduate (7000-9999) level course work only if they meet the standards to be admitted as a post-baccalaureate and meet all pre-requisites for the course in which they seek to enroll, which may include permission of the faculty.
