In the U.S., an average semester of study equates to 16 credits. Thus, other credit unit systems are converted to the same 16 credits for 16 weeks of study. The conversions vary based upon the country of education and, in some cases, the way that a university reports units of study.
FCCPT evaluations are based upon post-secondary education only and education must be recognized as post-secondary in the country of education to be included in review. Thus, you should not have secondary education documents sent to FCCPT unless specifically requested to do so.

Evaluation Reports are accepted by ALL 53 U.S. jurisdictions. Applicants who apply for the Comprehensive Credentials Review (Type 1 Review) or Educational Credentials Review can rest assured that the final Evaluation Report will be accepted by any U.S. licensure board.
All documents that arrive for evaluation are digitized and stored forever at NO additional cost to the applicant. These can be retrieved at any time for future services, or for the applicant to request Certified Documents. The majority of other credentialing agencies have a limit of 2-7 years after which documents are destroyed.

Secondary education documents are only required if you were education in one of the countries listed. We require secondary education documents to be sent directly to FCCPT by the external examination body and not the secondary school. License Verification.
FCCPT cannot verify the authenticity of the documents if they are not sent directly from the issuing institution. If there is any question of document mishandling, FCCPT will verify the document's authenticity. This will delay the start of the evaluation process significantly.
Important: All additional documentation must come directly from the issuing institution and not from you (the applicant). FCCPT will only accept pre-existing documents from the school. FCCPT will not accept letters indicating content has been taught or documents prepared specifically for FCCPT purposes.
If you have completed additional coursework since the initial evaluation and would like to have it added to your evaluation report, then you can apply for a Re-evaluation. FCCPT must receive all official transcripts directly from the issuing institution in order for the coursework to be considered for Re-evaluation.
If you have completed the PLAN-Full service and have taken all of the pre-approved coursework, you may apply for the PLAN Re-evaluation to have the coursework added to your evaluation report.
