This course is a formal "Leave No Trace Trainer" course under the guidelines of the BSA and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Successful completion of this course entitles the participant to recognition as a Leave No Trace Trainer and, if desired, enters their contact information into the database of Leave No Trace Trainers available throughout the country. Leave No Trace Trainers are networked through the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics to ongoing developments in the Leave No Trace educational movement. This course also presents training on bringing the Leave No Trace message to Scouting.
