Can't Share Garmin Connect 'Workouts' to friends or groups. I write turbo training workouts for our cycle club into the 'Workouts' section of my Garmin Connect account.
I found that if you make the course public and save it, then you can share it with the tree dots on the right corner. Maybe it's a later update. Yes, it amazes me that you have to go outside of Garmin's environment to communicate to another Garmin user in order to share a course that you created within Garmin with them. I'm using an edge 510.

This has been talked about on Garmin for a number of years. My feeling is that it is unlikely to happen as it is effectively providing a coaching service in all but name. This is something that you can get from the fee charging sites. As such, I cannot see Garmin providing this for free, if they ever do go down that route.

View a course on the Garmin Connect website, then there should a "Share" button in the top right. Just above the map, above the box which gives you distance/speed etc.
