All bachelor's degrees granted by the University of Dayton require a minimum of 120 semester hours of credit with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0. Specific requirements for the various degrees are listed under the schools granting the degrees.

12 semester hoursFull-Time Students A student with an academic schedule of at least 12 semester hours is considered a full-time student. With this status and upon payment of tuition, the student is entitled to the benefits of the various activities and student services as available.

Yes, the UDayton Global health insurance is accepted at the Student Health Center. When you visit the UD Student Health Center, the amount is charged to your UD student account, accessible through Porches. The students are encouraged to pay that balance to avoid getting any holds or interest charges. The Health center submits a claim for re-imbursement to Insurance and the Insurance refunds the amount to UD. You will receive your Health Center insurance claim refunds by UD. The refund process may take up to 4 weeks.
UDayton Global takes a proactive and intrusive approach to advising. Students meet their advisors during orientation and advisors reach out directly to request additional meetings throughout the semester. Advising appointments are always available upon request.
