If an applicant has taken a course at another institution that fulfills one or more courses requirements in the catalog, list only the required course from the catalog. The applicant must upload this completed form to their application in the DPD Course List Form section. They cannot submit the application without this form.
In these instances, DI Directors should assume that if the DPD Director has issued a DPD Verification Statement or completed the Declaration of Intent to Complete Statement, the courses listed on the application are acceptable equivalents.
DPD Directors should record the catalog year on which the applicant’s degree is based on the DPD Course List Form. The process for using the standardized DPD Course List form is as follows.
Your Director will submit a DPD Verification Statement or Declaration of Intent prior to you submitting your application. Upload a copy of your DPD course list. Your DPD Director will provide you with a copy of the course list.
Request official transcripts to be sent to DICAS. Follow the instructions on the DICAS portal to submit transcripts. This should be done several weeks before submitting your application.
Compose your personal statement in a word processing program, review and edit, then cut and paste your statement into DICAS. The personal statement is limited to 1000 words.
