As an undergraduate student, before you can take the class you want, you may have additional steps to complete. If you haven’t fulfilled the prerequisites, don’t have the required class standing, or haven’t completed the course permission form, you may not be able to register for a class.
Not all classes will be available to you—until you have submitted a course intent form. Once your form has been processed, you will be given permission to register for the class if authorized. It's up to you then to register for the class via One.IU.edu.
Note that your enrollment status is based on the number of credit hours for which you’re registered—waitlist hours don’t count . If you need to maintain a certain enrollment level, register for a schedule that will work for you and use the drop if enrolled option.
You won’t be able to waitlist a course that requires class or school authorization until the department has granted you permission. Make sure to request permission as soon as possible—ideally before your authorized registration time.
You may register at any time after your scheduled enrollment date and time through the first week of classes.
