To select your repeat option go to: MyMadison > Student Center > Enroll Classes > Edit > Choose Course. You are able to select this yourself until the course adjustment deadline which can be found on the Registrar’s website.
Even if you remain in good academic standing, remember that you need to earn 180 units to graduate, and that repeating courses often means you are treading water rather than moving closer towards that goal. Don’t assume that just because a class is a repeat, it’s going to be easier.
If you have a 'W' notation for a course (meaning you Withdrew after the add/drop deadline), this is not considered a completed course grade. Therefore, a 'W' cannot be overwritten on your transcript by repeating the course. Generally, you cannot enroll in a non-repeatable-for-credit class for a third time.

This may put you at risk of not meeting your minimum requirements for satisfactory academic progress. If you earn a failing grade (F or FIN) in a course and then retake the course in a subsequent semester, earning a grade of A, B, C, D, or P, both grades will remain on the transcript. However, the failing grade will no longer be calculated in your Hunter GPA.
Students shall not be permitted to repeat a course in which they have received a grade of A, B, C or CR unless that course has been designated as repeatable in the course description of the college catalog. Students may repeat a course in which a D was received.
Additional Majors Every student must complete at least one (1) major to earn a BA or BS degree. But students pursuing a BA can declare a second major, also called a double major. In fact, one can pursue up to three BA degree programs.
A grade of “F” is a failure grade given to a student who completed the culminating academic experience of the course and failed. A student who completed a course unsuccessfully should be granted the grade of “F” with the culminating academic experience of the course, i.e., final exam, final paper, etc.
While the main goal is to avoid failing a class in college, it could happen. Even if you do fail, you can retake the class and ask for help. Although it will negatively impact your GPA and could affect your financial obligations, you can bounce back.
C'What is the minimum passing grade? To pass a class, a minimum grade of 'C' is required, (except for the Translation/Interpretation Certificate, in which the minimum passing grade is 'B') and you must have attended 80% of the classes.
More than One Major Students must complete the Hunter Core requirement and satisfy the sequence for all declared majors. If the same courses are required for two (or three) majors, the student must take additional courses as approved by the major department to reach the required number of credits in each major.
Yes, you can declare up to three majors.
Double Major or Dual Degree Only courses required for the second major or degree will qualify for federal loans or work study. You must take at least 6 hours required for the second major or degree to qualify for loans. Students will continue to qualify for institutional scholarships and state financial aid.
