Parents are able to request an official transcript for their student(s) through the Acellus App. Once you have signed in as a parent, select “Manage Account”. Then, click on “Request Transcript”. Enter in the email address you would like to have the transcript sent to and click “Submit”.
Please note: To graduate through Acellus Academy, students must complete the entire 12th grade through Acellus Academy (minimum of 6 credits) and be enrolled for a minimum of twelve months.
GPA in Acellus: computes the amount of completion (Progress) for each class WITH the Grade for each class and averages these scores to give you a final G.P.A. Once a student completes ALLof his/her classes, a student will have a G.P.A that reflects the actual grade you would get for all of your classes combined.

It uses the same exact videos and questions as Power Homeschool but your child will graduate from Acellus Private School instead of a homeschool issued diploma. Special Lessons are an important part of our program. These onsite assignments help students develop and improve important skills that are not currently addressed through the online lessons. These assignments count as 5% of the grade and are required.
You can retrieve a student’s ID and password by signing in as a parent through the Acellus App. Once signed in, select the name of the student and then select “Edit Student Account” in the upper-right corner of the page. The student’s Acellus ID and password will be listed.
If you give your student a holiday, they will not be marked as absent. Attendance does not affect a student’s grade. Because of this, you are not required to enter your student’s schedule into the Acellus system.
Homeschooling parents should research these considerations to determine whether homeschooling is the right option for their student. The effectiveness of any course will depend on the diligence of the students, which in a home school environment, is the responsibility of the parents.
Since Power Homeschool is a parent-support program and not a school, we are not eligible to pursue accreditation. The purpose of our program is to provide curriculum and support to families who are homeschooling. Many parents who decide to homeschool will create their own diploma when the student is ready to graduate.
All Operating Systems: Acellus requires Internet connection – a broadband connection is recommended. Mobile devices are supported. Speakers or headphones and a microphone or headset are recommended. Occasionally, students are given an assignment where they can build a presentation or other project with online tools that they know how to use but specific tools or plugins are not required.
Another resource that is available to you is the Acellus Library. It contains videos and books which you may check out. Your teacher may also assign you resources from the library for your classes.
After the video, you are given practice problems to assess your understanding of the lesson concept. As soon as you demonstrate mastery of the concept, Acellus will advance you to the next lesson.
Special Lessons are supplemental learning assignments given through Acellus. Special lessons are indicated by a small “bubble” that appears on the briefcase icon in your student interface. Select the icon to view your current Special Lesson assignments. Newly assigned lessons are marked with a blue flag.
The Help Tab is available to provide extra support while you are working problems. It contains the Lesson Manual and Problem-Solving Help in the form of short videos that show an example problem being worked. The Help Tab also contains the Lesson Videos for you to review.
