What age can you play junior golf?

A junior golfer is classified as a Club Member age 22 and under. Junior golfers may play at any time on Tuesday through Friday, and after 1:00pm on weekends and Holidays. These times may be modified by the professional on duty if the amount of play warrants it.

When is it allowed to walk the golf course at the University of Texas?

Walking the course is permitted any day after 3:00pm as long as there are no tournaments scheduled. Pull carts are not allowed.

What are the rules for golf?

All players are required to observe all playing rules and proper golf etiquette – particularly those listed below: 1 Tee off only between the tee markers 2 Replace all divots at all times 3 Repair all ball marks with a repair tool (or tee) 4 Practice only in practice areas 5 Fivesomes are not allowed 6 Slower groups and walkers should allow faster groups to play through at all times. What time does the Pro Shop open?

Starting times may be reserved from 7:30am-6:00pm on weekdays and from 7:00am-3:00pm on weekends and holidays. On weekends, there are certain restrictions on Members bringing guests. See Section Rules Pertaining to Guest Play.

How old do you have to be to swim in the pool?

An adult must accompany all children age 10 and younger in the pool area. All children age 7 and younger and less than 4 feet tall must be accompanied by an adult in the water and in a swimsuit at all times. Children who have not been toilet trained must wear a disposable diaper, plastic pants, and a swim suit.

Is a Ladies Golf Tournament required for the PVWGA?

All Ladies Tournaments are signed up for on the signs posted in the Ladies Locker Room or by applications distributed by the PV Women’s Golf Association. Membership in the PVWGA is required to participate in all Ladies Tournaments except the Pleasant Valley Women’s Club Championship. All mixed events are run under the auspices of the Men’s Tournament Committee and are signed up for under the Men’s Tournament rules.

Is the clubhouse restaurant open?

The Clubhouse Restaurant (Champions) is open during the golf season for lunch and dinner. (Mondays excluded except Monday holidays). Reservations are suggested. Members may add a gratuity to their meal charges. If a gratuity is not added, an automatic 20% gratuity will be added by the server. Gratuities are not added to take-out orders unless authorized by the Member. Club facilities are always available for private functions as well as in-home catering.
