you are unfortunately pretty limited in that area, unless you know a member at Pelican or have a Club Pro that can call you onto Bellair. Otherwise, you have to drive an hour to get to a decent course. Seminole is fine if you just want to golf, but don't expect pure conditions or facilities.

As a member at Belleair, I don’t disagree. Before I joined, I would bounce between Bardmoor, Belleview Biltmore (I still miss it) and Dunedin. Dunedin was the best layout if the group. I need to play Dunedin again.

Innisbrook is one of the best courses in Florida, and non-members can play it (just won't be cheap at that time of year). It just hosted the Valspar. Its probably a 40min drive depending on where in Indian Rocks you are staying.

Sooooo interesting change of events. We just sold our house, so as of this moment it looks like I'm going to try and play 36 at Innisbrook. So the copperhead course is the obvious must play. I'm wondering which of the other 3 would be a fun one to play as well. Thanks in advance everyone.

The Island is the hardest course on the property. Harder than Copperhead. It has some really stupid holes. The 6th could be the worst par 4 I've ever played. 4th is a par three with trees in the middle of green. 7th is the best par 5 on the property. North is a 6000 yard course. Front is hard, back is easy.
