The puzzles in Portal 2 weren't challenging in the slightest. The game ends up becoming, "find the white panel and put your portal on it." They mix it up later on with the gels and the reflection cubes and that's about it.

The "Hard Rat Life" is the hardest level ever created in Portal 2, I believe that because people just can't win. It is not a impossible level, but it is almost there. I have created it because I found out that the other levels were too easy, so it was made to be difficult.
Portal 2 has very good visuals, in the focus environments it provides the player though never puts any more attention to it than they need to. More importantly, the decision to keep the game at it's short 6 hour length allows for the story to pace smoothly, the prospect of replaying it (hell, even finishing it) viable.
