Use Canvas’s many communication tools Announcements: Give students a chronological timeline of your course communication with announcements. They can be pre-written and posted at a later date, and you (and your students) can subscribe to announcements via an RSS feed.
You may also be able to view past and future enrollment courses in Canvas. Note: Some institutions may restrict the option to view or access future enrollment courses before the participation dates and/or restrict the option to access concluded courses after the course has ended.
To unlock a Canvas course after the term has ended: Navigate to the course you want to unlock, and from the course navigation menu, select Settings. After the page automatically refreshes, your course will be unlocked, and the course end date will be set to one month from the current date.

Canvas offers fairly extensive rubric options, allowing you to attach a rubric to an assignment, graded discussion item, and quizzes. Rubrics can be used for both grading purposes or feedback only. You can also create rubrics in Microsoft Excel and then import those rubrics into Canvas.
