Nickname Your Course
Although students see the same card image because it is a course setting, they do not see instructor course nicknames and colors, which are user specific.
To manage the image, click the Settings icon [1]. To change the image and select a new one, click the Change image option [2]. To remove the image completely, click the Remove image option [3].

From your list of courses available to you, click the "Star" icon to mark a course as a favorite. Click on the "Dashboard" option in the Global Navigation to return to your Canvas Dashboard and view the course(s) that you have selected as your favorite.
The Dashboard holds only 20 course cards (links to your courses) and sometimes they can "go missing". Here is a step by step guide on how to get the course cards to display on your Dashboard.

If one of your courses includes a long or confusing name, you can create a nickname for your course.
