IvyLearn Fundamentals: How to Add Course Content. Description: In this one-hour presentation, participants will learn how to update the syllabus, how to add course content (non-graded items) such as pages, how to add assignments, which includes quizzes, discussions and online submissions. There will also be a grade center overview.

Now click and drag the McGraw-Hill Connect link to the top part of the menu to make it available for your students or click the setting icon and select “Enable.”

Blackboard is the platform Ivy Tech uses to give you access to class syllabi, assignments, and grades. There is also an email-like function in it for student/instructor communication. You do not have to login to Campus Connect to use Blackboard.
This opportunity is open to students regardless of which campus they attend at Ivy Tech. It also makes no difference if you get your degree through virtual classes, online, or face-to-face.
Ivy Tech Community College- Bloomington, is a good starting college for students fresh out of high school, and returning students of all ages and backgrounds. Its a decent size but not overwhelming and has a pleasant campus that is easy to navigate.

The IvyLearn team will be on hand to try to answer every question you have. Scheduled for two hours on several Fridays these are a great time to get a really specific burning question answered.

Description: Faculty are encouraged to take this one hour, guided tour of the new IvyLearn, Canvas Learning Management System. Participants will see some of the great features of the new LMS, have a chance to hear answers to some of the most frequently asked questions and learn a bit more about the roll out plan for the new LMS.
When you copy an entire course's content, the visibility settings are preserved when the content is added to the new course. For example, hidden content in the copied course is hidden in the course you copied it to. Content is set to Hidden from students if you copy individual items into your course.
Building a curriculum? No need to start from scratch. Creating content for your courses takes time and thoughtful planning. If you teach multiple courses that use similar content, you may want to copy content items and folders between courses to help save time.
In the Ultra Course View, you can copy content from other courses you teach so you don't have to start with a blank slate. You can quickly build your list of content to copy from another course. You can choose to copy multiple pieces of content across your courses, including all content in your courses. Get started from the Course Content page.
You can only copy content from other courses in the Ultra Course View. Attendance data isn't included when you copy a course into a new or existing course. In the Copy Content panel, all your courses appear in the Your Courses and Organizations list.
