To the right of each course is the option to 'Edit' or 'Remove' the class. To adjust a course, select the 'Edit' pencil icon. Use the menu to select the subject and grade. Once you have chosen a course, you'll be able to view the course description and any needed prerequisites.
To add a student you'll need to sign into your parent account through the Acellus App. Once you have signed in, select 'Manage Account'. Click on “Add Student” in the upper left hand corner. Enter the new student's information and the courses you would like them to begin in.
Acellus Academy is a private online school that is accredited. It uses the same exact videos and questions as Power Homeschool but your child will graduate from Acellus Private School instead of a homeschool issued diploma.
How Quickly Can I Finish Lessons? One of the Acellus Academy review mothers testified that they could finish their lessons in 45 minutes to an hour each day.
If a student fails a step (scores lower than 70%) Acellus will automatically have them retake it. (Students who fail an exam more than 5 times will be moved forward, the system counting the most recent grade.) If needed, students may cancel the retake step once selected.
GPA in Acellus: computes the amount of completion (Progress) for each class WITH the Grade for each class and averages these scores to give you a final G.P.A. Once a student completes ALLof his/her classes, a student will have a G.P.A that reflects the actual grade you would get for all of your classes combined.

In Power Homeschool we have a passing grade set to 70%. Parents do not have the ability to set the passing grade. However, students do have the option to select the retake for credit option on exams if they are wishing to obtain a higher grade.
If a parent subscribes and does not want to continue using Power Homeschool, they may cancel for a full-refund as long as it is within the 7 day period. Parents who continue beyond 7 days may cancel their subscription at any time. However, after the first 7 days, all subscription payments are non-refundable.
If all students are paused, your account will not be billed for any future payments. Any work completed by your student will be archived and saved in case you decide to re-activate the account. We recommend printing any students records or reports that you will need prior to cancelling your account.
