Copying and/or moving course content from one semester to another is the most convenient way for you to reuse and adapt existing course structures, materials and content. Enter the older Blackboard course that has content you want to copy. On the Control Panel, expand the Packages and Utilities section and click Course Copy.
In order to copy or move content to another Blackboard course you do, naturally, need to be enrolled on both the ‘source’ and ‘destination’ courses. Follow the procedure above, but choose which course the content is to be copied to from the Destination Course drop-down list.
If this course ID doesn't exist in the database, Blackboard Learn creates a new course with this ID. In the Select a Package section, select Browse to navigate to the course package and select Open.
On the left-hand pane, find the folder for the past course where the videos reside and move that folder to the right. Then select the folder with the current course name and move it to the left, leaving only the past course’s folder on the right.
You can import course packages back into Blackboard Learn to create a new course with the same content. Exporting a course includes only the course content. The export doesn't include any user interactions such as blog posts or grades. Don't unzip or extract a course or archive package.
To do this, click on the editing arrow next to the Item or folder, and then choose Copy or Move. On the Copy / Move screen, leave the Destination Course as it is i.e. select the course you are in. Click on the Browse button next to Destination Folder to choose where the content is to be moved or copied to.
