Viewing Imported Resource

To review your imported resource, open the course you imported the resource into and navigate to the appropriate feature area (e.g., Modules, Assignments, Quizzes, Discussions, Pages, or Files) in Course Navigation. If you imported the TLT Course Template, your course will be a copy of the Commons resource.

View Shared Resource

View your shared resource. It may take up to 30 minutes to process a resource. Resource previews are not available while the resource is processing.

Import a Blackboard or Moodle archive

If you have a .zip archive of either a Blackboard or Moodle course, you can import that from the Import Existing Content page.

Import a QTI quiz file

QTI is the common file format for quizzes in some LMSs, especially Blackboard and Canvas. Create a QTI .zip file by exporting your quiz out of the previous LMS. It's this .zip that will be imported into the Canvas course.

View Copied Module

The copied module displays on the Modules Index Page for the course into which it copied.

Drag and Drop Discussion

You can use the drag and drop option to reorder pinned discussions. Click and drag the discussion to the desired location within the section.

Move Discussion

You can also use the Move To option to reorder a pinned discussion. Click the Options icon [1] and select the Move To... link [2].

Place Discussion Location

In the Move Discussion sidebar, click the Place drop-down menu [1]. Select the placement of the discussion you are moving [2]. You can move the discussion so it is located at the top of the section, before a specific discussion, after a specific discussion, or at the bottom of the section.
