I found that if you make the course public and save it, then you can share it with the tree dots on the right corner. Maybe it's a later update. Yes, it amazes me that you have to go outside of Garmin's environment to communicate to another Garmin user in order to share a course that you created within Garmin with them. I'm using an edge 510.
