If you re-enroll in the course, you'll get new personalized deadlines based on the day you re-enroll. To unenroll from a course: Log into your Coursera account. Go to My Courses. Next to the course you want to unenroll from, click the three dots to open the menu.

After you leave a course you won't be able to view the course material or your progress, or get a certificate. You can rejoin a course any time until your access expires.
If your menu doesn't look like this, make sure you are on www.futurelearn.com rather than our Help Center. select Your Learning (and if the course hasn't started yet, change the drop down which says 'in progress' to say 'upcoming') click the pink text that says Leave course on the course you want to leave.
Select Edit course details on the course details page. Select Delete course. You are prompted to confirm the deletion of the course. Select Delete course, or Cancel. The course is permanently deleted and no longer appears on the My Courses page.

@dufay_k , go to the course and click on People. You should see a gear icon by your name. If you click on the gear icon then you'll get the option to "remove from course." If you don't see the gear icon then you'll need to contact the person who added you to the course to have them remove you.

Alert students in an active course so they can copy their grades before you delete. Students will lose access to their work when you delete an active course. To avoid confusion, also alert any section instructors or teaching assistants before you delete the course.
Learning management system (LMS) customers: Remove the course association from your LMS course. This automatically deletes your MyLab or Mastering course. For instructions see LMS Help for instructors.
Every base language must have at least a course. To remove or delete a course its base language must have currently at least two courses.
