I am just so exhausted. It is finals week for me and I am still completing undergrad. These sciences courses are killing me. I haven't been taking care of myself. I am irritable all the time and I am just BEYOND tired. Why do people have to do sooo much just to make a good living? I hate everything about my life concerning pre-PA right now.

Been on this PA journey since sophomore year in college. But as I’ve graduated and started working as a medical assistant, I’m starting to feel tired of having to deal with angry people all the time and working this low paying job. On some days, I want to give up. What keeps you motivated in this journey?

how do you keep yourself from giving up?

This semester was really difficult for me. I burnt myself out by taking 17 credit hours of mostly STEM and working 12s on the weekend at my PCE job along with dealing a bunch of horrible family stuff. In hindsight, definitely shouldn’t have done that but I handled it last semester so I thought I could do it again.

If this gives even one person a sense of hope, this post is a success

A bit of background info about myself: Without going into specifics, my undergraduate grades did not meet the minimum required GPA for PA programs. I honestly wasn't the best student and felt pretty lost through college. I just didn't know which career path to take.
