To import a course package
Import course components. In the course offering that you want to import components into, on the navbar, click Course Admin > Import/Export/Copy Components. On the Import/Export/Copy Components page, select Import Components. Click Start. Select the file you want to import. Choose whether to Import All Components or Select Components and then follow the prompts.

Select the module or placeholder you want to copy. In the module or placeholder's context menu, click Copy Structure or Copy Placeholder. In the context menu of the node or closest node to the location you want to insert your placeholder or structure, click Paste After, Paste Before, or Paste As Child.
Do NOT ‘unzip’ or ‘expand’ the course package. This process uses the .zip file created from a D2L course export.
Log into D2L and navigate to the course where you want to import the package
