To import questions into Moodle's Question bank, use the Questions link in the course administration and select the import option. You can, however, export your questions to a file and then import them to another moodle installation. I usually create a quiz in one course, importing questions from GIFT files, using categories and, adding graphics files.
In the Moodle course you will copy into, to import the item (s): Open the course you wish to import item (s) into. Select the Course Management button (black gear icon , top right), the Course Management panel will open.
