Naples does have good shopping and dining, but I agree it is more "stuffy" than Sarasota. It is just a more upscale place, in general. The beaches at Sarasota are lovely and there are lots of things to do in the area. I prefer it to Naples, but I go primarily to relax and enjoy the beach.
