Log in to the Engineering PIN System to retrieve your PIN number. (PINs will be released the day before registration opens, and the database is updated every Friday after that, if your PIN wasn’t released initially.) You must have a Plan of Study in the process of approval to access your PIN.

How students can Access your PIN. (Choose Term –COURSE REQUEST on top left > then go to ADVISOR RECOMMENDATION TAB up on top> very bottom of the recommendation you will see your PIN.). You will see a NOTE from advisor with your PIN.
Log into myPurdue.purdue.edu and from Registration tab, select Use Scheduling Assistant. From the Add/Drop courses box, search for the course to add and then select Submit Schedule button. Student will receive a message stating that the course cannot be scheduled, but the student can request additional approvals.
Definition of a Hold Some holds signify the student is restricted from enrolling in classes and/or obtaining academic transcripts at Purdue University. Holds that do NOT prevent registration or obtaining a transcript are: DD - No direct deposit authorization on file.

The Coaching and Resource Network (CRN) was formally announced in May 2019 and became operative in fall 2019. The CRN is not a typical mentoring program focused on advice and guidance for research or grant writing.

Vehicle owners will have a hold placed on their vehicle registration if repeated. toll notices haven't been paid. Indiana and Kentucky law allows for registration holds on. vehicles registered to drivers who owe back tolls and fees.
According to university policy, students who wish to take credit hours in excess of 18 (fall/spring semesters) or 9 (summer semester) must have approval from their college. If you'd like to request an override for more than 18 (fall/spring) or 9 (summer) hours, you'll need to discuss this with your academic advisor.

Registration PINs are assigned to Graduate students and non-degree seeking undergraduates for access to the registration system. Registration PIN numbers are distributed by Graduate Contacts and Registrar staff for non-degree students and are assigned each semester.
Holds may impact students' ability to submit a Course Request Form, enroll in/change classes, change their curriculum, or obtain academic transcripts at Purdue University.
When a section is cancelled, an e-mail will be sent from the department offering the course to students registered in the cancelled section notifying them they need to move to a non-cancelled section.
