While Pilot classes in Titanfall 2 are tied to tactical ability, in the original Titanfall they were bound to weapon classes, with any tactical ability compatible with any loadout.
A Pilot is an elite soldier and operator of a Titan, possessing superior skills and equipment compared to the standard Grunt . Players take the role of Pilots in Titanfall and Titanfall 2, fighting as an operative of either the IMC, Frontier Militia or one of the many mercenaries out to seek fame and fortune from fighting the Frontier War .
Scale the wall to the roof of the building with the turret and then jump up to the top where the black tubes go to get Pilot Helmet (1/3) (44/46) ( 12:25). Now jump down to the other side of the building and press to call in a new BT. Titanfall!
In the entire series, the only moment AI Pilots are ever seen on foot engaging in unscripted combat is in the mission The Ark in Titanfall 2, where the 6-4 members are clearing the deck of the IMS Malta before moving up to the bridge. Here, they will utilise the full capability of their Jump Kits with double jumps and running on walls.

With the first collectible under your belt, you have three options. First, you can just move on and worry about times in the Gauntlet later. Second, you can shoot for the easier achievement to get a feel for the game. Third, you can try to knock out the entire Gauntlet.
If done properly, you'll pick up the EPG and keep it when you respawn after falling to your death. With the EPG in tow, head back to the weapon rack near the start of the Gauntlet.
After being neurally linked into a Harmony -inspired training course, the two begin by running through basic maneuver training including jumping, sprinting, wallrunning, sliding and double jumping. Cooper then arrives at the firing range, where he has a variety of weapons to choose from to use on the range.
Choose up to 7 games. When done with the Pilot's Gauntlet, Captain Lastimosa will finally take Cooper to practice with Titans, the 20-foot tall mechs operated by Pilots. Lastimosa introduces Cooper to BT-7274, his personal Vanguard-class Titan, and instructs Cooper to call in his own.
The mission serves as the player tutorial as Captain Tai Lastimosa of the Frontier Militia goes through the "Pilot's Gauntlet" with Rifleman Jack Cooper of the 41st Militia Rifle Battalion. The map aesthetic for the Gauntlet would later be used in creating the multiplayer map Glitch .
He is instructed to reload his weapon and then fire at five target boards. After doing so, he has the option to stay at the firing range for a little longer to practice more. Cooper arrives at the Pilot's Gauntlet, a course that combines all the elements he has just practiced.
The 9th Militia Fleet is en route to attack an IMC-controlled planet called Typhon. Zero civilian presence - I only know that it houses an "IMC military research facility". Aboard the James MacAllan, my Pilot training continues with Captain Lastimosa, a master level Pilot.
Captain Tai Lastimosa and Rifleman Jack Cooper of the Frontier Militia are aboard the MCS James MacAllan, approaching the planet Typhon in Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation territory. Before arriving, Captain Lastimosa trains Cooper by running through the Pilot's Gauntlet, a simulated training course activated by neural linking within the sim pod.

A wallrunning Pilot in Angel City. A Titan can also be operated whilst the pilot is not actually in it, in "Auto-Titan" mode. It has two modes that can be switched between while pilots are disembarked: Follow and Guard. Follow mode makes the Titan follow the player as close as the titan could possibly be.
In addition, Pilots Viper, Kane and Richter all utilize helmets exclusive to their loadouts and unequip able in multiplayer. Bear also wears a helmet not traditionally found on Pilots, instead bearing more resemblance to the IMC Marines of Titanfall.
The helmet of the male Assault IMC pilot is inspired from Boba Fett's of Star Wars. More references to the Mandalorian helmet of Star Wars fame can be found in the extremely similar-looking Holo Pilot. There are two types of Militia pilot Male Rifleman suits and two types of Militia Female CQB suits.
However, many Pilots will opt for artificial enhancements to improve their skillset. These can range from minute enhancements such as the "hearing aid" Aural Implant to the transhumanist Simulacrum and Spectre Camo, both of which completely replace the Pilot's organic body with a robotic one.
As special forces of their respective armies, Pilots employ a large array of equipment in combat, being able to choose their own weaponry and loadouts. Aside from standard primary weapons and sidearms for infantry combat, Pilots also employ specialised Anti-Titan Weaponry alongside their rifle and sidearm (Or, occasionally, in place of their sidearm). However, the most impressive array of tools at their disposal are their Tactical Abilities; special abilities designed to assist Pilot survivability. Grapple Hooks, Particle Shields, Cloak and the ability to phase out of this dimension entirely are but a small part of a Pilot's toolset.
However, by far the most highly-sought certification is the Combat Certification, a widely published series of tests that grade a Pilot's abilities.
Most games only have one shotgun, but Titanfall 2 feels the need for more than one . The EVA-8 holds 8 shots, meaning you can go a remarkably long time without reloading. This is perfect for situations with little cover, or when you need to take down a lot of enemies in a small amount of time.
Titanfall 2 is different to other FPS games because not only do you have a huge Titan to call on, you can also wallrun, double jump and fly all over the place as a Pilot, meaning the game is much more fast-paced than Battlefield 1 or Call of Duty.
The MLG is a Magnetic Grenade Launcher. It launches explosive grenades that may not have the power of a rocket launcher, but it doesn't have the same low ammo, reload speed or fire rate as a rocket launcher. It's a somewhat common weapon, compared to other powerful guns in Titanfall 2. The MLG holds six grenades.
Legion is the tank loadout of Titanfall 2 - slow but dishes out huge damage. Legion's main weapon is a Predator Cannon. It has two modes of fire - Long Range and Short Range. I always prefer long range, as short range is too risky and dangerous.
Rea pers. Reapers are the most dangerous enemy you can face as a Pilot. They're huge two-meter tall robots that relentlessly chase you through Titanfall 2. Thankfully, there's only one area where you have to fight them as a Pilot, and that's the "Into the Abyss" level.
You only get the Smart Pistol in the final mission. This is obviously because it's overpowered and the game needs to be balanced... but you can forget about "balanced" with this weapon in your hands. It locks onto enemies and each lock-on is an instant kill. It takes about a second and a half to lock on, and that's a conservative estimate. It can target up to 18 enemies at one time, as the gun only holds 18 bullets at a time. And did I mention the unlimited ammo? Enemies don't stand a chance. You can mow down entire armies in seconds and combined with wallrunning, it makes for a lethal combination. This is by far the best weapon in the entire game. Period. My only complaint is that it's only on the final mission, and you don't get that much time with it, but it's still an epic weapon.
While the original was a multiplayer-only shooter, the sequel provides a fully-fledged single-player campaign mode. You play as Jack Cooper, a rifleman serving with the Milita, who are fighting back against the IMC.
