Your course materials are located within your course on Blackboard. Once your professor activates the course, you will be able to access them. Your professor decides where in the course to place the link to the course materials – for example, this could be in the Syllabus or Course Documents content area.
Choose a folder to search in the Content Collection. To select a location to search, select Browse. You can look through the folders in the Content Collection. When you find the one you want to search, select the radio button next to the folder name.

Non-term courses appear on the Past Courses page when they end or on the Upcoming Courses page if they start in the future.
You can't reorder courses in the list. Courses are listed in alphabetical order and grouped by term with the newest courses first. Your favorites appear at the top of the page.
Importing Your Course to Blackboard. To import an exported course to Blackboard, you will need to make sure you have the course exported as a .zip file. Login to the Blackboard Course you wish to import into. Click Packages and Utilities under the Course Management in the left menu. Click Import Package/View Logs.
Archiving your course downloads all of the course content and materials including the grade center into a .zip file. This is primarily used to keep a record of your course. If you want to access these materials again to use in the future, we recommend that you export the course as well. It is easier to import an export of a course that it is to import an archive of a course. Archived course may not properly import.
Blackboard: Downloading or Archiving Your Course Content. You may wish to download your course content from Blackboard either for your records, to save for accreditation reasons, or if you leave the university. There are several ways you can download your content. See the options below for retaining access to your course materials.
However, this does not download all submissions for all assignments at once. You will need to repeat the process for each assignment.
Be sure to save all course content to a secure university file storage solution such as OneDrive.
If you just want to be able to reuse specific files, downloading the course files is the best bet.
The .zip file will download to your computer. DO NOT UNZIP BLACKBOARD ARCHIVE OR EXPORT ZIP FILES. These files must remain zipped in order to be reuploaded to Blackboard.

In the Content Management menu on the Admin Panel, select Manage Content. Select internal > autoArchive. Course archives are stored in folders. Locate the course in the list and select a folder to see the available archives.
Open the course's menu and select Export/Archive. The Export/Archive page lists all export or archive packages for this course that haven't been deleted from Blackboard Learn, even if you've already downloaded the package. The file names include the date and time the package was created.
Open a ZIP file's menu and select Open. In the Opening File window, select Save File and select OK to download the archive package to your computer. Optionally, you can permanently delete the package from Blackboard Learn. Access the ZIP file's menu and select Delete.
The method for archiving cross-listed courses is to archive the parent course. Only parent courses have content, and archiving the parent course includes the child courses. You don't need to archive a child course as it only contains enrollments.
Blackboard Learn automatically backs up all courses with activity within the last 7 days. The server creates these course archives automatically at 2 AM system time. To prevent duplication, courses without activity since the last backup aren't archived. To save space, each backup is incremental, and may appear much smaller than a manually-created archive. Consult the insight report to determine how much disk space is used by auto-archives.
To Include the Grade Center History, select the check box following the course ID. Selecting this option increases file size and processing time.
The instructions and the script itself can be found in Learn. Select the System Admin tab and under the Courses section select Course Settings > Automatic Archive Settings. In that section you'll find the instructions to download and run the script.
