The student may obtain "Closed Class" permission from the department or instructor and re-register.
The waitlists are processed manually every 3-4 days (more frequently as it gets closer to the start of the semester), and the next eligible student on the list will be auto-enrolled if there is an available seat. The student enrolled into a section from the waitlist will be notified via their CUNYfirst preferred email.
Registration can be done from any computer with internet access and students may register for courses on or after their appointed time. If you have a negative service indicator ("hold") please arrange to clear it before you begin the registration process.
