Create a course. On the Administrator Panel, in the Courses section, select Courses. Point to Create Course and select New. You can merge existing sections, allowing instructors to manage multiple sections of the same course through a single master course. To learn more, see How to Merge and Separate Child Courses.
What you'll learn
These courses will be available on Platzi and will seek to train thousands of creators through five courses, live sessions with experts, and access to a community of creatives. This will allow creators to develop Spark AR content such as filters ...
To manually enroll as user into a Blackboard Learn course:

Courses may not appear in the My Courses module in Blackboard for a few reasons: The instructor has not yet published the course for student view (most common reason). The student has not yet successfully registered and paid for the course. There may be an issue with the student's enrollment.
On your Courses page in Blackboard, click the three dots next to a course and choose Hide Course. If you would like to unhide your course, click the Filter menu and choose "Hidden from me." Click the three dots next to a course and choose "Show Course."
The note “private” in your course title means that the course has not yet been made available to your students. To make your course available, follow the How to Make Your Course Available to Students instructions.
When you register for a class you are automatically enrolled into the Blackboard system for that course within approximately 6 hours. However, there could be several reasons why you may not see a Blackboard course. I'm a new or returning student who registered for courses.
A course site isn't visible to students until the instructor manually publishes the Canvas site. If the semester/term has already started and you are definitely registered for the course, contact your instructor and ask them to publish the course. You may have previously set your Courses List to show other courses.

1. The course menu is located on the upper left menu bar on the Course Home Page. The course menu allows navigation through the course by clicking on “Home Page,” “Information,” “Content,” “Discussions,” “Tools,” or “Help.” 2.
On the Administrator Panel in the Courses section, select Courses. Search for a course. Select the check box for each course to delete. Select Delete.

When you create a course, Blackboard Learn requires only two course properties: a course name and a course ID. However, several other course properties control important aspects of courses, such as when they're available.
A complete course is in a read-only state. Enrolled students can open the course and access the course content as normal, but are not able to interact in the course, such as participate in discussions or submit assignments.
Course themes add a background image to the course display and change the color of the user interface, including the course menu, buttons, and controls. The theme can be changed again at any time. Applying a theme doesn't affect course content or a chosen course structure.
You may find it most useful to bulk delete course materials at the end of a course. You can select the materials you want to delete and keep the rest for use in the future. For example, you can delete students and grades from a course, but keep the content.
Only instructors can set a course to complete from the Courses page. Administrators can control course availability from the Administrator Panel, but can't mark a course as complete in this area. On the Courses page, instructors can control availability for the courses that they teach.
If your course is unavailable, access is determined by course role. Blackboard administrators, instructors, course builders, teaching assistants, and graders can see and access unavailable courses from the My Courses tab and the course list, but they're marked as unavailable. Students can't access unavailable courses regardless ...
Open a course card's menu to change your course availability. You can also change your course's status on the Course Content page. You can make your course private while you add or experiment with content, and then open it to students when you're ready. Students see private courses in their course lists, but they can't access them.
Mark a course as complete. You can choose to set your course to Complete when the course has ended, but you can no longer make changes to it . Students can access the content, but they can't participate in the course any longer. For example, they can't reply to discussions or submit assignments.
To make the course available, open the course's menu and select Make Available. To make a course unavailable, open the course's menu and select Make Unavailable.
Blackboard Learn provides several reports to help you monitor user activity in forums, groups, and content areas associated with courses. You can also view reports to see which course items are aligned with specific course standards or objectives.
On the Administrator Panel in the Courses section, select Course Settings. On the Course Settings page, select Course Menu and Structures. On the Course Menu and Structures page, select the check box for Enable Course Structures. To disable them, clear the check box.
The Quick Setup Guide helps instructors choose elements for their courses such as a course structure and a theme. They can also edit the course name and description, and access topics and video tutorials to help them learn more about building their courses.
Child courses have limited options in the menu and need to be managed from their associated master courses. On the Administrator Panel in the Courses section, select Courses. Search for a course. On the Courses page, open the menu and select Edit.
Instead, it becomes a distinct course. The course no longer is associated with the merged set, and it contains no material from its former master course. The separated course retains both its content and enrollments from the moment it was separated out.
When you create a course, Blackboard Learn requires only two course properties: a course name and a course ID . However, several other course properties control important aspects of courses, such as when they're available, whether guest users are permitted, and where the course appears in the course catalog.
To prohibit unauthenticated users from enrolling in the course, select No. Categories. Select Course Catalog Category. The category determines where the course description appears in the course catalog. Select a category to select it and select the right-pointing arrow to move it to the Selected Items list.
To limit enrollment to a specific time period, select the Start Date and End Date check boxes and enter the dates and times between which users can enroll in the course. To limit enrollment to users with an access code, select the Require an Access Code to Enroll check box. Provide the text to use for the access code.
Click "Open course". You will be prompted to confirm your decision. Click "Open to students" to make your course immediately available. Log into Blackboard Learn and enter the course. In the Course Management menu under Customization, click Properties.
In either view, open the course card's menu to change the course availability by clicking the three horizontal dots. Click the three horizontal dots (course menu) to change course availability. Click "Open course".
"Unavailable" means that an instructor has access to the course, but students will not be able to enter the course. Instructors have to make the course "available" to allow students access to the Blackboard Learn course. There are three options to make your Blackboard Learn course available:
Enroll users in a course. If you want to enroll multiple users in a course, enroll them in groups based on their course roles. You can select one role per set of users. For example, if a course has one or more instructors, enroll them first. Then, move on to students. Optionally, you can enroll all users with a role of Student ...
When you merge a course into a single master course, its students are enrolled automatically in the merged master course. However, when students enter the course, they'll see only the course ID of the child course they were originally enrolled in. To learn more about merging courses, see Merge and Separate Courses.
If you have students who need to access a course outside of the normal term, you can override their enrollments. They'll have access to the course until the date you set.
You can change a user's role in a course at any time. For example, if an instructor needs an additional assistant during the term, you can change a user's role from Student to Teaching Assistant for that course.
Removing users from a course doesn't delete the users from Blackboard Learn. After you remove a user from a course, the user can no longer access course materials or user interactions. The user is no longer enrolled in the course. You can't automatically restore users to courses after you remove them.
With Edit Mode on, there is a lock icon in the upper-right corner of your Blackboard Course as of March 2018. During an active semester, clicking the lock icon will change the course's availability to students.
The Course Availability setting allows Instructors to make a course available or unavailable to students. Unavailable courses are not accessible to students, but are visible and accessible to instructors, teaching assistants, course builders and graders.
