You can use the following tutorial to remove a course:
On the Courses page, open a course's menu and select Edit. Edit the course properties. You can't change the course ID. Select Submit.
On your Courses page in Blackboard, click the three dots next to a course and choose Hide Course. If you would like to unhide your course, click the Filter menu and choose "Hidden from me." Click the three dots next to a course and choose "Show Course."

A course ID is a unique identifier created for every Mastering course. It contains the course creator's last name and five digits.

By default, all courses are made “unavailable” or invisible to students. The instructor needs to make the course “available” to students at the start of the semester. If your instructor has asked you to use Blackboard and you do not see a Blackboard course, ask the instructor if the course has been made available yet.
Log into Blackboard and access your Blackboard course. Hover your cursor next to the link you want to hide, and click on the chevron button that appears next to the link.
From the menu of the course profile, click Course Options, and select Edit Privacy/Course Settings to review and adjust your course privacy settings.

On the Quick Setup Guide page, select the check box for Do not show the Quick Setup Guide when entering a course to disable it. To enable it, clear the check box .
On the Courses page, instructors can control availability for the courses that they teach. Point to a course card and select the lock icon to change a course 's availability. You can also change course availability on the Course Content page. When you change the availability of an open course, you can either make the course private or complete the course.
When you create a course, Blackboard Learn requires only two course properties: a course name and a course ID. However, several other course properties control important aspects of courses, such as when they're available.
In the course search results, Blackboard Learn indicates unavailable courses with a red X. To change a course's availability, open the course's menu.
Course themes add a background image to the course display and change the color of the user interface, including the course menu, buttons, and controls. The theme can be changed again at any time. Applying a theme doesn't affect course content or a chosen course structure.
However, if they officially drop a course, they will be disabled in the enrollments and will no longer see the course listed. Course completion does NOT impact course visibility. Once Blackboard term expires, about 3-4 weeks after exams are over, students should see the course listed, but may no longer have access unless 1) ...
