Manage Courses. To favorite a course, click the star next to a course [1]. Courses with filled stars show the course is a favorite [2]. In the Dashboard, any courses you have with an instructor role will be listed first, followed by TA roles and any other custom instructor-based roles. Your courses with student roles are listed last.

Pages store content and educational resources for a course or a group. Pages can also be used for assignment descriptions, but don’t need to be in an assignment. Think of pages as a website within your course. Pages can include video, links, files, text, and other content. Pages can also be linked to other pages in Canvas. Pages are helpful as a collaboration tool for course or group wikis, when an instructor wants specific users to have access. Canvas also stores the complete history of the page as additions are made. Third from the bottom of the Help menu in Canvas you should see the option for “Training Services Portal”. This site will offer multi-media training opportunities for getting started in Canvas.

For those individuals, you will need to submit the form linked below to get your course shell created in Blackboard. The deadline to request a Blackboard course shell is Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
