Penn Foster Alumni

I had started with Penn Foster back in 2017 in the medical office administration program which was throughly enjoyed. I had tried to get a job in a medical office but to no avail, I had been unsuccessful.

Wildlife and forestry

My wife's son and I signed up for the wildlife course and I have to say it did not disappoint! I hope to someday work as a forest ranger or mycologist in a National Park! The content of the course was particularly interesting, especially the unit on mushrooms.

The worst experience

The worst experience! They use old, outdated material (2018) with current accounting programs that have no correlation. Instructor feedback is ridiculous and utterly useless. Most material and supplemental instructions I had to get elsewhere. What a waste of money and time.

Waste of Money

Penn Foster does not accept Federal Financial aid because they are not regionally accredited. They have accused me of plagiarism twice with no proof. They are doing this to students who excel in their classes. I am also doing a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance from SNHU with a 4.0 and have never been accused of plagiarism from SNHU.#N#*Update*.

I HAVE done 3

I have done the HS program, Child Care professional program and am currently in the Child psychology program. And when I am finished I will go into the ECE Assosites program. I have never had ANY bad experiences throughout my MULITPLE programs. I have always been called backed-emailed back.

I am now undecided after reading reviews

I wanted to enroll my granddaughter in Penn Foster next year. She will be in 9th grade. After reading all the reviews I am just not sure I want to go through with it. So many bad reviews, some about the courses and some about how they take you to the money cleaners.

Penn Foster is the best!

I graduated from Penn Foster High School in 2000. Then it was called ICU High School. I still have the school ID with ICU on it! With that being said I decided to enroll in PF College to earn my Associate degree in Business Management in 2020. Let me tell you it was 20 years too late! But I guess it's never too late.
