After your first semester, you are able to self-register for your courses in UC-One once a registration period is open.

COURSE STRUCTURE AT UC

There are three kinds of classes for executive-format students within a 16 week semester:#N#Full Term: 16 weeks long. Residency courses, Dissertation courses, and INTR courses are part of the FULL TERM.#N#First Bi-Term (B1): 100% online (first 8 weeks of the semester)#N#Second Bi-Term (B2): 100% online (second 8 weeks of the semester)

Specialization auto-cancellation

When you subscribe to a Specialization, your payments will automatically end once you complete all the courses in that Specialization.

Refund a Specialization subscription

Because all Specialization subscriptions begin with free trials, you can't get a refund for a payment made on a subscription after the free trial ends. There are no partial refunds for subscriptions, so you'll need to cancel before your next payment date.

When you cancel a Coursera Plus subscription

You will still have paid access to the Coursera Plus catalog until the end of the billing period. Once the subscription expires, courses you were subscribed to will disappear from your My Courses page.

Pause a subscription

If you want to pause or suspend a subscription, you'll need to cancel, then restart the subscription when you return. We'll save your work, but your personalized deadlines will reset when you resume your paid course access.

When you'll know your registration date

You'll receive an email about 2 weeks before your registration opens to let you know that your registration date is on the Student Services Centre (SSC). You'll be able to register any time between your registration open date and the add/drop deadline, or course change date.

Registration exceptions

Certain programs don’t follow the standard registration date schedule. If you're in one of these programs, check the Student Service Centre (SSC) or your program website for registration times.

Winter Session registration periods

The dates below are for registration periods by year of study. The dates reflect the date registration opens. Students are able to make changes to their course selection until the course change dates. Check exceptions for programs that don't follow the standard registration dates.

Summer Session registration

If your summer session course section is cancelled, you will receive a refund to your original payment method.
