There are a number of ways to obtain a tee time on the Old Course at St Andrews Links, where the game was first played 600 years ago. If you have a suitable handicap (maximum of 36 for men and women), this page explains each of those options in detail. May 14, 2015 · Yes, all Old Course tee times that are booked in advance are sold as part of a two course package. Along with the tee time on the Old Course, golfers also have to take up the option to play another of the St Andrews Links Courses. This option will be the New Course, the Jubilee Course, the Eden Course or the Castle Course.
Booking Your Round. There are a number of ways to book a round at the Home of Golf from the traditional Ballot for the Old Course through to our online booking system. Pick the St Andrews Links course you wish to play to find out more. Ordinarily, the nine-hole Balgove Course doesn't require an advance booking however the turn up and play policy has temporarily been suspended.

It is drawn 48 hours in advance of play and golfers should provide their names, home club and handicaps either online, by phone or at one of the clubhouses before 2pm, two days before the day they wish to play.
